I just saw my dad naked?

I walked into his room and he was just naked with his hand down there but with the covers over that area. It was obvious he wasn’t wearing underwear. I think the only explaination for why he’s naked is because he just got out of the shower? Because he knows I’m here and wouldn’t have been otherwise. I know he usually has his hand in his underwear but he’s never naked ( I say that as if it’s normal for me to see that but it’s true 💀 )

I just asked him if he was making dinner soon and acted as if I didn’t see anything because what else would I say? Was it right to do that? Also I’m definitely knocking for now on..

I just left it because there wasn’t really anything to do about that situation, but I couldn’t help but notice some of the comments.

I know it’s his room, and I know it’s his house. I’m a minor. I switch back and forth between my mother and father’s house from week to week. I thought that maybe he would be more careful knowing that I was in the house and having his daughter here would’ve inclined him to take caution.

It’s not just me in this house, it’s my grandma too. ALSO, let me just add that this isn’t some two story house, it’s an apartment. Our rooms are pretty close to each other.

Now for the knocking thing, he never knocks when coming in my room, and frankly I see no need to. I wouldn’t be naked on my bed with the door unlocked with my dad’s room right next to mine.

It’s not like I’m a guest here, I LIVE here, we both never found any need to knock and trust me I know privacy is a thing but I bet if I started knocking on his door he would find it strange because that’s not what we do here.

So for those of you rolling your eyes at me acting like it’s obvious this is how he’s gonna be and telling me I was SUPPOSED to know to knock, just know I was never taught to do that in my house nor ever shown that courtesy.

And apologize? Are you serious? Like don’t get me wrong I don’t think what he did wasn’t okay at all, but it was definitely something I expected him to be more weary of with me around. I can’t believe one of the comments actually wants me to say sorry for him having his dick out.
