Children Before Marriage ?

I am wondering how many couples are boyfriend/girlfriend that are TTC vs husband/wife. My boyfriend and I decided that we wanted to start trying. We are both in our mid/late 20’s with stable careers, a house, and a very healthy relationship. We will eventually get married but right now want to start trying since ideally we’d like a child or two before we’re in our earlier 30’s. I’m okay with the idea of having children before marriage but not sure how others will perceive it. What are your thoughts/opinions?

I know a lot of people have children before marriage which it totally fine. I’m just nervous on how my family and friends will react.
