How expensive will a photographer be?

How much did you pay or what are the going rates for a wedding photographer I'm in the process or starting to plan just getting ideas and trying to figure out how much we can spend

This depends on a several factors. What city you live in, how many hours you want the photographer for, if you want a second photographer or assistant, if you want print copies and/or a print release, how many years of experience your photographer has, whether it's wedding season, the day of the week, etc.

​Most of the packages we're looking at range from $1800-$3800 and include 7-10 hours with 2 experienced photographers on a Saturday during prime wedding season.

They usually have different packages available. Most packages include an engagement session, and then you pay more for more time on the wedding day, or they'll throw in little things like canvas prints, photo books, a DVD with your pics, etc the more you pay. The prices I've seen pretty much run about $1800 min and upwards of $2500 or more. My word of advice: don't skimp on the photographer! They're pricy but hire a professional who's going to do the job well! Those are your memories!

In general you definitely want to pay for a photographer and when I say I mean don't just go with a friend who has a nice camera that produces decent photos. Weddings cannot be redone. Experience is key when it comes to wedding photography. And for that experience you'll have to pay.

With that said, the average starts around $1200 or $1500 and goes up from there.

It depends my fiances sister does really good photography so she said she gonna do our wedding for free or just a couple of bucks depending on how we do our wedding
