Condoms drying you out?

Sometimes when my bf and I use a condom, it seems to completely dry me up. I can be soaking wet and when he puts a condom on, I’ll be wet for a couple minutes but it slowly dries me up. I’m not sure why or how that even happens.

Has this happened to any of you before? If so, is there a different brand or kind that worked better for you? We use Trojan ultra thin lubricated.

I use FAM for bc, and we use condoms around and during my ovulation window, so I’m really hoping for an alternative that could work better for us.
