Ill be 38 and 2 days at my next appointment and i really want to ask for one if im dilated, but im nervous 😬 Anyone else planning on requesting one?

Me! I have hypertension so I’ll be induced at 38 weeks. I am going to ask for a membrane sweep at my appointment next Tuesday when I’ll be 37+2. I would like to go naturally if possible and not induced.

Yes I will at 38 weeks my induction is scheduled for 39 weeks, but both of my previous babies came the day of my sweep

My doctor offered one at 39 weeks jf I’m dilated. As of last week at my 36+5 weeks appointment I was closed. So I’m hoping this week (37+5) I’ll be at least a cm and then I’ll ask for it to be done at 38+6 since my 39 weeks will fall on a Saturday 😅
