COVID TESTING

I’m due in a few weeks & I just learned that my hospital requires patients to get tested for COVID. This means a 6-inch swab q-tip will have to be inserted in my nose. I’ve done some research & some say it’s painful or uncomfortable. I’m just not looking forward to it. I understand the reasoning but ugh! I feel like there has to be another way.. Can I just deny the test if I don’t have a fever nor cough 😩

UPDATE: I know labor is more painful than the swab test OBVIOUSLY!! I’m just venting.
