Third time moms: What’s your car situation?

I have a 6 year old and almost 3 year old already. With baby number 3, I’m trying to figure out how to configure car seats. 
I’m getting a car with a third row this week, but it’s not a minivan so you can’t easily access the third row with two car seats in the 2nd row. 
How do you or would you configure your children?

If you’re thinking about having more, or if you ever want anyone else to be able to sit in the back, maybe consider a minivan. I have a 2018 4wd sienna and I love it.  This will be my fourth son. I have my 6yo and 3yo in the third row, my 15 month old in the captains chair rear facing in a convertible behind the passenger, and the newborn behind the drivers seat in a removable baby seat.

After our 3rd was born we got a little bigger outlander. It has 3rd row. We originally put our 7 year old back there but it was a pain in the butt had to open the trunk every time. We put her in the middle and she had to climb around car seats. Now with our 4th coming i don’t know what we are going to do. It’s not big enough to fit 3 car seats across. I guess never go anywhere with all the kids.

We have an Acadia. It has captain seats in the middle and the third row. Our seven year old will have his booster in the very back. Two year old and new baby will be in the captain seats. It’s easy for the older one to walk back and buckle himself. That’s what we did when I babysat a friends baby too and our son was five/six then with no problem going in the back

I have a 5 year old, two year old and my newest is due in 20 days. 
Depends what 3rd row you got. 
I got the Cadillac Escalade ESV. 
I specifically looked for options that had captain chairs in the second row that way there is an aisle entrance for my oldest to walk into the back row. 
My 2 year old is rear facing in a convertible car seat, so he will have to get in the car on the side the baby will be before I click her carrier into the base. 
That’s the only option I could think of for myself to work efficiently and easily.

When we found out we were pregnant we waited until we found out we were moving to a new state. Our car wouldn't have fit 3 xarseats comfortably. I mean i could fit 3 but would have been a pain. Plus we moved to a place with more snow and needed a 4x4 or awd. Husband came home with a suv. 3rd row. I love it! 
As for carseats. I have 8 and 4. The 8 is in a high back. The 4 still has issues buckling and unbuckling. Not sure if I'll have all 3 kids in the same row yet or not. A booster is easy to move if needed. Im thinking of putting the 2 seats on the bigger side of the seats so I can move the little seat back and forth if needed for the 3rd row (if any of that made sense)

I just bought a Jeep Grande Cherokee 9 months ago, and found out we were pregos. And I have a 3 year old and a 6 year old. 
Both girls have high back booster seats. I purchased a car seat for up to 25lbs (they tend to be a smaller car seat) I installed the infant seat a few weeks ago to get the girls use to it and myself of course. 
Configuration is booster, car seat, booster. For now!
It may change depending on how hard is it to get the infant seat in and out of the middle. And also how the 3 year old acts towards the baby. She is already showing signs of jealousy😬

I’m just gonna have to put all 3 in the back seat. I have an Xterra right now, eventually I would like an SUV with 3 rows but it isn’t in the cards for now. So I’ll put my 6 year old in the middle of the baby and my 3 year old, since he needs the least amount of space to sit.

I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and now twins in the way so I have to get a bigger vehicle but cant until tax time cuz we still owe alot on my trax that I got when our 2 year old was born

If the 6 year old can self buckle they can climb under the car seats and into the back.

I have a telluride but it has captains chairs like a minivan does, I’ll have the baby behind the driver side, my 12m old behind the passenger side, and 6 year old in the third row. I do want a bench seat in the middle and if I had that I would put them all in the same row with my 6 year old in the middle of the younger ones
