To place so much more effort into my relationship than my husband. Today’s my birthday and no birthday hug or kiss or an I love you until I got sad over it. He said “I already told you a million times”. He said it in the middle of the night while half asleep and then gave me his back and went back to snoring. Last week I graduated college with my BA and same thing, no congratulations or “good job” or nothing. My parents came to drop off a cake the day after my last final and to congratulate me (masks on). Same on Mother’s Day.

I always do the smallest and biggest things for him (not just on special days, but every single day) but there’s no effort or care on his end.

Sorry to rant or even maybe “exaggerate”, but it sucks when friends or other family show way more appreciation. Sorry if anyone else is in the same boat. *virtual hug*
