Does he want to break up with me?

So my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost two weeks and things have already gone off at a rocky start. My friend decided he didn’t like the attention I was giving my boyfriend instead of him and got really pushy about things and when my bf confronted him he started calling my bf things like a girl and a tranny ( my bfs ftm) and that really made him and I upset. The other day I was talking to him and he asked me how I was feeling and stuff and I told him that I was bummed out because I hadn’t got the chance to talk to him that day and his reply was no offense but that’s a pretty stupid reason to be upset. And later that night he called me and I called him back whilst I was having a major breakdown and I told him what had happened and he asked if I was willing to talk and I was like yeah I am and I was still crying a bit so after three minutes he’s like you really don’t sound good I’ll talk to you tomorrow and I was hoping he’d let me talk to him about the problem because I thought he cared! And we have both been through so much together and separately that it’s really hard to communicate sometimes. And I love him so much I would do anything for him but I don’t want to be the only one in the relationship who’s trying. I don’t know if I’m just overreacting or clingy but the whole thing along with some other problems is taking a toll on my mental health which isn’t really great to begin with. I need somebody’s advice on the situation so pls comment
