Relactation for my toddler
Hello, I'm creating this post in hopes of y'all's honest opinion as well as some tips. My toddler just turned two as of April 13th, and he's had issues with chronic constipation. Now, with that being said, he's been on two different stool softeners separately and together, and they somewhat help, but he is physically holding in his poop. This has become such a problem, that he only poops maybe once a week and it smelled like mothballs. His doctors already know about this, and are referring him to a g.i. doctor. With all this being said, I'm considering relactating to produce milk for him, as I can't seem to figure what it was that originally caused this to begin with. I've tried different milks, nut milks, lactose free etc. I guess what I'm really trying to ask is would it be weird for me to breastfeed my two year old after such a long gap of time? The last time he fed from the breast was around 1-2 months of age. Thanks in advance ♥️
