Break up

Hello everyone,

My boyfriend of a year and 8 months broke up with me. He is a year behind in college and I just graduated. I am looking for a job & a place to live. He has been there with me through it all. He told me he can’t fake his emotions and his smiles. He told me that he is scared he can’t give me his 100%. He told me that being in a relationship is more like a job. He told me he feels like he’s left behind. I just don’t know how to feel. I’m devastated..

His parents had something to do with it, they asked him questions saying like what are you going to do, what do you think. I think that made him get thoughts in his head.

I just really do not what to do. If someone could help me think why? That would be great.
