Knitting a blanket with horizontal stripes
So if you’re knitting a striped blanket, would you knit the stripes from left to right or from top to bottom?
The stripes are horizontal either way... I just mean, in which direction would you go when you physically knit them?
Assuming you are knitting each stripe individually and then stitching them together at the end.
Would you cast-on the short side and knit across the whole row? Or do you cast on the long top, and knit down the height of the stripe?
