Contractions ?

How would you describe contractions. I’ve had so many practice ones it hard to tell what’s practice and what’s not.

It hurt! Lol I knew exactly when it wasn’t a Braxton Hicks anymore. Period cramps times 1000! And when that water breaks hold on to your butts! You’ll know. Congrats!

For me, the real ones felt like practice ones (Braxton Hicks) in the beginning. I was questioning for a while if they were real ones or not. But then they started to get more intense, and then I knew. Braxton Hicks just felt like tightening but not any pain. Once the contractions started to hurt I knew they were real, even though they had started several hours earlier.

Meeeeh to be completely honest I was having light contractions for about 7 hours before they started to get pretty uncomfortable. I was starting to have trouble walking, but the pain level was only still about a 5 for me. I only went in because they had lasted so long and started to get more intense

So I was in “pre-labor” for like almost 2 weeks. When I was induced they got way more intense and stayed consistent longer. The pain was for sure more intense and getting more tense. For me It was all back labor. The pain that was clearly coming and going, was all in my low back. When it got really bad I could feel it in my hips, it was awful. 😅 I also went into labor and delivery twice before I was induced. I would say for me the real contractions just continued to get more intense once I was in active labor.
