Florida Medicaid

Does anyone here have experience with Florida Medicaid? I lost my job and insurance due to COVID-19 after I found out I was pregnant. My current doctor who I’ve seen for years does not accept Medicaid. My first appointment this pregnancy is next Monday and I’m going to call them tomorrow but don’t think I can afford to self pay for my pregnancy. Im really worried with Medicaid I’ll end up in the local Health Department which does not have a good reputation. I’m almost 10 weeks and need an appointment soon - my medicaid application is “pending” - going to attempt to call them tomorrow too. Does anyone have experience or advise for best ways to navigate Florida Medicaid?
