Is this a allergic reaction or just Eczema?

My boyfriend is a contractor and been having very itchy , flaky skin . Does anybody have a clue or had this happen before ?

Honestly, I don’t think it’s a reaction to anything from looking at it, but because you’re saying it’s very itchy, it could be. 
Has he tried taking benadryl to see if it goes away? If so, it’s an allergy thing, if not, I’d see a dermatologist.

If it slowly started could be eczema which usually goes away wity hydrocortisone cream... my husband has eczema diagnosticed it never got that much, he starts with cream as soon it shows up and it goes away in 3 days, but if persist on your hubby may should see a doctor.
