When to get your tubes tied

I have a 3 year old and im pregnant with twins both boys im 23 i have high risk pregnancys i do want a girl someday but  dont want anything bad to happen so i need some advice on this topic. when or how did you make your decision about not having anymore babies

I would recommend talking to your SO about a vasectomy if you don’t want hormonal birth control and you’re on the fence about another baby. It’s reversible and much less invasive than a tubal ligation.

I wouldn’t do it if you want more later on down the road!! I had mine done after my 2nd child was in a bad relationship and so he kinda forced me to get mine tied I wasn’t really thinking ahead in life at that time just knew I didn’t want anymore kids with him. Finally get away years later and then years later found the love of my life he didn’t want kids Of his own and wanted his own kids also. So I got a tubal reversal well doctor kept telling me everything went great it worked so on I kept trying for a year went back he then tells me I lost a tube due to scar tissue but tells me my right is good and perfect no reason I shouldn’t get pregnant so try another year and nothing so at that point I knew something was up so I found a new doctor they ran all there test and so on come to find out the doctor should have never done the reverse because he has already damaged my tubes when he tied them!! So ended up having to do IVF which I’m currently pregnant now! But I honestly say don’t do it if you want more kiddos because honestly you never know how it will go!!  Just gets birth control!
