How many people having girls will be naming them Everly?

Everly/Everleigh was at the top of my list for years and year but I decided it was too popular to use with my first daughter and now it seems to be even more so! I am curious how many people are going to be using the name with their girl.

Where I’m from it’s super popular. I know at least 5 under the age of 5. I also watch a lot of YouTubers that have daughters with the name as well.

It’s certainly trendy, but not anywhere near as popular as people seem to think. It’s not 7% of all babies, like the poll certainly says (probably voters lying because they want to discourage you from using the name) or even 2%. It’s actually the name given to 0.234% of girl babies in the US. So one out of every 428 baby girls. Which means one out of every 850 or so babies, total. 
Not rare by any means. But not as common as people seem to assume. Honestly I see so much judgement on the presumed commonness of names like Everly, but no objections to the names that really are at almost 1% for their genders, the thousands of Emmas and Olivias and Noahs and Liams and Jacksons that everyone posts about daily.

I see it a lot. Even if 2% of the population uses it, that's a high percentage when you consider the thousands of names out there. But if you like it very much, use it. My friend has a Charlotte from the Charlotte craze a few years ago, she doesn't care.

Everly isn't a name I've come across before in the UK, but that's not to say it won't become more popular in years to come.
If it's a name you love, then go for it! Names tend to come in cycles - and if everyone believes the name they like is "too popular" they may not use it - the same as you're deliberating now. If everyone second guessed the name, and then changed it, there would be no Everly's at all!
Everly is a pretty name so go for it 😊

I think it’s popular but still not as common as Ava, Olivia etc. Everly is lower on the SSA top baby names than the name we picked for our daughter (Savannah) but I have yet to personally hear of another Savannah around her age/in our area. I think if you love it, use it! Don’t let just the popularity factor change your mind
