TTC problems

I just have a question. I got a positive pregnancy test on May 15th and then by May 19th I was in the hospital for bleeding and dehydration from not being able to hold anything down. The hospital told me that I was never pregnant but in order to get a positive result you have to have hcg in your body and when I asked them that they told me then that I was miscarrying. But now only after bleeding for 8 days I still feel the exact same way with being sick and all that. Has anyone else gone through this? Could I still be pregnant?
