Hcg levels

I hope that someone here will be able to help me because doctors only keep confusing me more and more. I was bleeding from 5/5 until yesterday and doctors said it was a chemical pregnancy and my hcg level was 6 and then it became 4 in a few days so they confirmed their assumption. And then they tested my hcg a few days after and it went back up to 6 and now they’re super confused. They told me to come back in for more tests tomorrow but that they’ve never had this before. I’m feeling so nauseous and extremely exhausted lately and for some reason that’s confusing them even more. Also I continue to test using the clear blue digital test and it continues to say pregnant. I would really appreciate it if someone can give me any insights on this if they’ve been through this or they have any background knowledge on this topic.
