Should I give up?

When I first met my boyfriend he was great. He was a bad drinker. He stopped drinking for me. He was great for a few months and now he started drinking again. He’s a very very bad high functioning alcoholic. All he wants do is drink even at 8 I’m the morning. I’m pregnant with my first baby by him I love him so much. But is it true they can only change if they want to? I feel so drained trying to get him to stop. Anybody else going through the same thing?

He wants his car payment money back. He’s never paid a payment before.
