My first child was born when I was 35. My 2nd when I was 40.  Ttc at 48 and am glad I am an older Mother.  I have patience because I dont feel Im missing out a hot night at the latest club.  I have the life experience necessary to get to the essence of making sure my children have a very well rounded and rewarding education.  They speak 3 languages, take serious art classes enough where my son sells his artwork via the local museum. They play 2 instruments of their choice and are continually exposed to cultural arts of all kinds. I would have never been able to give my kids what I do if I had them at 20. Not judging anyone who does.  Just knew young motherhood was not for me even knowing it does have its benefits too! The best mothers are the ones who have kids when instinct  to do so is respected. Its that simple.

I believe if your in a secure relationship and financially ready then go for it! My husband and I are 23 and are better off than most people in their 30's, we are ttc and I'm glad I'll be a youthful mother.

When you are financially and emotionally ready to support a child. Probably mid 20s at the earliest.

I was 25 when I got pregnant with our son and wouldn't change it for anything. We had 6 wonderful years before we were blessed with him.

I got pregnant at 16 with my first and never looked back it actually changed my life for the better being so young it either makes you or breaks you ive never looked back im 24 and have 3 children in a stable relationship we are not on benefits and we get by financially we arnt rich but we definatly arnt skint we have a nice stable home and lovely children and i wouldnt have it any other way

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. My mom had me at 17 and she struggled really bad as a single parent. I have my oldest at 21 and I was alone and the my youngest at 23 and I'm alone again. I wasn't completely ready to have kids... But I wouldn't change it for anything...

I'm 25, I've never been pregnant. I think the best time is when you and your partner are ready. If you have to wait, do it! It's not the end of the world if you wait, lots of people do! I hope to be pregnant before I'm 30.

I got pregnant at 16 and ended up having a miscarrige. It was meant to be that I wasn't  ready to be a mother yet since my relationship wasn't stable.

I was 22 when I got pregnant with my daughter and gave birth at 23. Being a mother is tough for any age. It's so worth it though! I wouldn't change anything if I could. There is no right age. When you're ready, you'll know.
