Which name for a baby boy?

I really like names that are powerful, yet unique. I also like when they are able to be shortened down to a cute nickname that they would generally go by.

I have a son named Leon, his father wanted a strong name but not too out there and it honestly suits him

Why do you have to give them one name and then shortcut it? Just name him the shortcut name if that’s what you’re gonna call him. Just doesn’t make sense.

I have a Leon for my boys middle name, after my German grandfather. We call him lee for short, we are a mixed family and I loved it, the Hispanic side of the family calls him León (lay-on)  and the German side pronounces it Lee-on.  I personally loved it as a second name it flows well with his first and works well with both cultures for annunciations. We typically call him Lee and he’s 1 and recognizes his full middle name in both English and Spanish. But hey that’s just us!
