i feel so stupid for asking this

i just had my son sunday . he did get circumcised i'm trying to be super careful cleaning him and making sure i'm doing everything rifht. i change him when he's wet or poops right away. but he's still getting pee on his clothes. he's 8.7 pounds so a newborn diaper fits fine , i wondered if it was too small so i tried a 1 and it's too big. are you supposed to point his penis downward or something? i have a 2 year old girl the boy thing is a new ball game for me
