Low blood platelets?

Has anybody has issues with low platelets? 
Im 37 weeks now and last week at my blood draw my dr said my blood platelets were really low, i had another blood test done today and it's even lower. 
Anybody experience this? Anything happen?

Yup. If you go below a certain number it’s problematic for having an epidural. It’s a high risk situation

I do!  How low are you? Its not a big deal until you get down to around 50-60. Other then that even if you’re around 90-100 you can still have an epidural.

Going through this right now. Was at 91 last week (week 37). Had another draw today and waiting for result. Dr said if it goes below 80 getting an epidural might be a problem but she said a good solution is to get platelet transfusion if it’s very low during delivery
