Today after 6 months my boyfriend broke up with me.

We hit a rough patch. He just started working a job that may require him to move around our state and has been very busy.

He told me Sunday after we were finally able to hang out he wanted to come up to my house and pick up his clothes. He hasn’t wanted to drive up to see me cause it’s a 40 min drive and he’s too tired.

Anyway he came here and as soon as I saw him he asked if I was okay. I said I was fine and he sat me down and explained that he had a lot happening right now with his new job. That he wasn’t sure what his future was going to be. He said he still cared about me and after his life calms down he’d like to try again. He then held me cause I started to cry and made sure I was okay before he left.

Then he texted me and told me he’d been here if I ever needed anything and I told him the same.

It really hurts, we got serious fast and opened up that we saw a future with eachother, he had even planned events for my birthday in October.

I know it’s a small chance we will get back together, but I’m hoping it will all work out.

UPDATE:

So I spent last night talking to a friend about what happened. We had met before I knew my bonus I cut things off because he was interested in me but I wasn’t with him. We did stay friends though because we had a lot of interests in common.

Anyway he gave me some good advice and was really awesome. I texted him at 12:30 am, and immediately got a response.

And this morning I woke up to a text from my ex

“Thank you again for the paint, I really love it, and good morning”

What??? I never expected to hear from him this soon tbh 😅
