Average height/weight for your 1year old

Sooo it was time to buy a new car seat since we outgrew our Chicco KeyFit 30. Since baby isn’t traveling outside the house we haven’t been in a rush to purchase and have been researching since March when he was measuring 29ins and I knew time in the infant carrier was limited. Everyone always says ‘he’s getting big’ or ‘hes growing like a weed’ well as a FTM I thought that was just sorta what everyone says when they haven’t seen your baby in a while. Well looking up weights on car seats sorta made me realize I do have a big boy. Not chubby just clearly in the 95% for everything. Our state requires rear facing until 2yo. Most convertible seats rear face from 30/40lbs. He turned ONE on 5/15 and we had a virtual wellness check up. He’s 28lbs and 32inches. Peditrcian said he’s growing healthy and has no concerns but it wasn’t until I started looking at how long my baby could be rear facing in each seat it hit me he really is BIG for his age. Started talking to hubby about it and he said he knew we had a giant when his co-worker brought his 2.5yo girl in and she’s 33in and 25lbs. I reminded him that both her parents are under 5’6 and well girls are usually smaller than boys. We both have very tall grandparents but we are average-ish in height & weight (5’7 & 5’9) but seriously is my baby a linebacker in the making? He would’ve grow half the rear facing convertibles by next month. I dunno if the charts I found online are outdated cuz my lil man by the measurements is a 2 1/2 almost 3 year old. I guess what I’m asking mommas is what is the height and weight (gender too) of your May baby????

Update: we ended up buying the Graco 4ever (4in1) dlx platinum car seat since it had one of the higher weight limits for rear facing and well our boy is gonna be a big man it seems. I just wanted to thank everyone for sharing, glad to see there are some other big babies out in the world 😂 keep feeding those little linebackers!!! And Please keep sharing too!!
