So my husband asked me to take to him; and when I did he went off and said “why do you always do this.” All I want is his love 🥺😭

You need to have this conversation in person. He seems like a good guy and like he genuinely wants to understand why you’re upset but this just looks like poor communication on both sides. Just saying “goodnight” in the middle of the conversation is kind of a guilt trip and not productive. Try talking in person and if that doesn’t help try couples counseling.

This sounds like a conversation you should have in person or over the phone, or you should try couples counselling. You might have different love languages, seems like you're vilifing him because you guys can't get your communication and affection balance right. 
Also he's not wrong that as soon as he voices how he feels you're not wanting to engage, you immediately say goodnight.
