Baby on the move what do I do?

Ok guys little man is officially crawling all over the place. Yesterdsy he banged his eye on the tv stand when i had my back turned. Whatre you using to keep baby from hitting head on all the hard places in your house?? I need to be able to get things done I can't stare at him all day! I tried putting pillows in front of the TV stand but I just climbed them. And hes so attracted to the idea of the coffee table!

While the minimalist in me LOVES the idea of everyone getting rid of all their stuff and wall mounting their TVs ... 😂
Honestly, if he's near something and hits his head on it, he's going to get a bruise at worst. He won't  hurt himself in any significant way by banging his head from crawling. Even when they start walking, a fall from their own height (like if he falls and hits his head on a table) isn't going to cause serious damage. The only caveat to that is that if you have SHARP corners, you might consider bumpers (but in my experience they NEVER stay on and aren't all that necessary). 
Babies hit their heads, and every other part of their body, basically constantly once they become mobile. It's just a part of life. He'll learn and he'll be fine! 
What you need to make sure you babyproof are cords, electrical ones and any blind cords you might have. Look for strangulation and choking hazards, as well as any furniture that might fall onto him if he pulls on it (think dressers or bookshelves). Don't just look at baby level because before you know it he'll be climbing the couch and the cabinets! Bump hazards aren't anything to worry about.

We have hardwood floors and a fireplace etc.  So at first I but a thin blanket over them so he would feel pain but not injure himself.   It is VERY important that they learn what will hurt them.  You certainly dont want them to injure themselves at all but a little ouch is actually good.    
Once my son got a little older we removed the blankets and havent really had an issue since.   Hes 2 now.   Our youngest isnt quite mobile enough yet to need it.

We're going to put up loose items (picture frames, candles, etc.) and make sure no cords are accessible. Other than that business as usual. Dressers and shelves are secured to the wall already. If I have to walk away we have a pack n play to put him in temporarily.

Maybe you could get one of those baby gates that form a circle to give him a safe place to play where you know he won’t get hurt?

I sold our coffee table, bought a wall mount for our TV yesterday and getting rid of a tall unstable shelf we have today. Its officially time to baby proof so my living space will look bare for a little while.

Would a pack n play help? My baby isn’t crawling yet but I plan to put her in that when she’s on the move and I want to get stuff done.

Get rid of the coffee table if you can. Consider mounting the tv on the wall. Get a large baby play pen with a rug or foam floor inside. Get corner covers for sharp edges. Crawl around on the floor like a baby and find anything within reach that needs to be fixed or moved so he can’t get hurt. The idea of baby proofing is making everything as safe as you can so you don’t have to be afraid he’ll get into something
