Strange cramps

Hey gals so basically whenever i get my period i have these diarrhea like cramps and i was wondering if anyone else did as well ( ik that they r common before the period starts and i get those too along with actual diarrhea which is always a blast, but my form of “period cramps” feel like diarrhea cramps without any diarrhea). these cramps get so bad that i dont even want to move but nothing changes no matter what i do. everyone talks about wanting a heating pack and eating chocolate but with these cramps, the thought of heat makes me nauseous and i just want to drink water and eat lettuce or apples. i was wondering if anyone else experiences this and what they normally do to cope.
