Latent Phase
Omg I didn't think this part of labour would be so horrifically painful! I'm 2 1/2 cm dilated and been having contractions for 12 hours non stop. Been checked by the midwife, she thinks I'll definitely have baby today. I just can't believe this pain is only the latent phase, the contractions are horrible! I've always thought I had a high pain threshold. Anyone else have a particularly painful Latent Phase?
