Baby still in your room?

Question

My baby is 9 months old now I’m considering moving him to his own room. I go back and forth, I think we will all sleep better but I will miss him! When he has a horrible night I always say I’m going to move him to his room but then he will have a good night and I end up letting him stay. Any encouragement or advice? He sleeps in his crib in our room so I can’t easily let him try it.

He’s still in my bed 😂 sleeps through the night though so he’ll stay there for a while yet.

My son has been in his own crib in his own room since 4 months. He instantly started sleeping better. Then we sleep trained and for the past couple months he has been sleeping through the night. I think babes like their own space just as much as we do. Plus, my son knows once we go into his room and start his bedtime routine that it’s time for sleep. Most nights, I’ll have just set him down in his crib and he’s already rolled over to his belly and closed his eyes. Almost like he can’t wait for us to leave him alone so he can go to sleep lol

We moved her around the 5 month mark, mostly because she outgrew her bassinet. She sleeps like a log in her own room.

My son has been sleeping in his own room since about 6 months (our rooms were connected at this point, so there wasn’t much difference). But we both got much better sleep. Now that he can pull and stand in his crib I can’t imagine how much he’d scream at me if he were to wake up and see me 😂 I was nervous to switch him but it was fine! (Also use a Snuza monitor so that helped ease my mind)

I just moved my 9 month old to her own room. She used to wake up 3 times and the first night in her own room it's now only one! It's made a world of difference!

My daughter has been in her own crib in her own room since she was two months old. I’m a light sleeper and she is noisy. It worked out better for us that way. I get much better sleep

We moved our daughter to her own room about 2-3 months ago and she's done so well! It's hard to let go, but she has slept so much better (11-12 hours straight). She was having rough nights in our room simply because as quiet as we tried to be we still made noise as we slept and it would wake her. She sleeps in the room next door with a hatch rest sound machine. She no longer is disturbed by us and wakes less no because of it. Good luck to you, it's tough...but it may just make those rough nights fewer and further between.

Yes my 10 month old is still in our room in his crib too idk were thinking of possibly moving him around age 1 so a couple of
months or so but we’ll see
