Husband doesn’t want a 2nd child

I’ve always wanted 2 children. Our daughter is going to be 2 in August. I want her to have a sibling. But my husband is very clear he doesn’t want one. He says he is happy the way our little family is. I really don’t know how I feel about it. Does anyone have only one child or is any one an only child here? I don’t really even know what I’m trying to ask... if you were an only child, did you feel lonely? Is anyone in the situation I am in? I just don’t know if I would regret not having a second... I’m happy with our little family too but I just always imagined having 2 little ones.
