Makena Shot - work for you?

Question

I started taking Makena shots at 16 weeks, still going strong at 25 weeks. First baby was born 33+3. Curious if they worked for you and if so how long you went? My doctor hasn’t expressed this, but I’ve heard that baby usually arrives 7-10 dats after last shot...true?

I've had makena injections my 2 previous pregnancies and in this one. The other two I made it to 39 weeks. This one we shall see, im 34 weeks today.

They worked for me! My first was born at 30 weeks. With my second I was on Makena and I probably would’ve went full term but I got pre eclampsia and had to be induced at 34 weeks because my blood pressure was too high. But my cervix stayed a good length my whole pregnancy thanks to the shots.
