Too early to buy baby stuff? TTC

Question

Me and my husband have just started trying and I’m so excited I want to start buying baby bits if I see a good deal and stuff - do you think it’s ridiculous or totally ok?

It’s a personal choice! Honey I got so excited when I was 9 weeks pregnant and bought a few things last year but I sadly miscarried at 10 weeks. I packed them away. I’ve lost another 2 babies since that pregnancy. I am however happy to unpack all my baby stuff when I finally have a successful pregnancy one day. No regrets here!

I'd buy whenever you want to. I bought stuff early with my first and then he was stillborn at 25 weeks pregnant due to premature labour. 
I packed the stuff up that I'd bought but kept it. I then used it with my next baby. I don't regret buying anything and it seemed nice to use some things that were meant for my first with this baby. He'll know all about his brother who was born sleeping and I feel like he has little presents off him now (teddies ect)

To each their own! Personally, I wouldn't  buy anything while TTC. I'm 17 weeks and I still havent bought a single baby thing. If it makes you happy and won't make TTC more difficult emotionally, I don't see a problem.

I’m a huge fangirl and have been resisting the urge to buy nerdy onesies for AGES. I might let myself start buying things I see that I like now that we’re trying, but don’t expect to fully start checking things off the baby purchase list until I’m at least a bit into a pregnancy.

I did! I bought stuff on my honeymoon 2 years before having my first, and they are very special to me 😊 I figured why not, even if it took awhile they would be fun eventually and I loved them!

I personally wouldnt until i knew everything was ok. I have bought an outfit to announce to my partner when the time is right🤞🏻

I had been collecting stuff for ages before I got pregnant. My partner is a proper dinosaur know it all, and boys run in his family (he’s one of 3 boys, so’s his dad, he has 1 girl cousin and that’s it!) so I started collecting cute boy dinosaur things when I saw them. I had a boy and used every single thing! So I definitely wouldn’t say you’re crazy!
