Ladies I am a wreck. It is currently Sunday morning and starting on Wednesday, I had a terrible pain in my left side and a low grade fever. After trying to deal for a few hours I finally went to the hospital. They diagnosed me with a UTI but since I have had kidney issues before, I knew it was worse. I ended up with a fever of 104 and was MISERABLE. Being as I am so far along, I went in to the office to see my doctor because Tylenol was not breaking my fever any lower than 101. He suggested I continue with my antibiotics and give it time to work because he was sure I now had a kidney infection which caused my fever. Friday morning I woke up with a much lower fever (thank goodness) but regardless of the fever breaking, I was still in excruciating pain. I ended up back in the ER and they gave me an IV dose of antibiotics. I made it through the night but Saturday I was in so much pain I couldn’t even eat. Back to the ER I went, where they FINALLY diagnosed me with a kidney stone that is 4.33mm. I was sent home with a low dose pain killer to take as needed and told to drink plenty of water. Well it is now Sunday morning and I am in so much pain I could puke. Nothing is helping. I am so hesitant about taking certain medications while pregnant but I broke down last night and took one. It didn’t take all of the pain away but it did help. It also made me dizzy and disoriented and I hated it. I woke up at 5am this morning with pain so bad all I could do was sit at the end of my bed and cry. I don’t want to take another pain pill and feel woozy and gross again but I’m at my breaking point..

Has anyone else experienced kidney stones this big and painful so close to giving birth? I’m afraid the pain is not only telling me something is worse than I expected but I’m SO scared I’m going to deliver my baby girl early. Please help... I feel so lost 😔
