How many OZ does your baby take??!!

Hey moms my baby is almost 4 months on 6/17 my pediatrician told me to feed him 4 ounces however he cries for a little after he finished the 4OZ. He was breastfeeding before that so I don’t know exactly how much he was taking but I have a feeling he needs more than 4OZ. Only reason I switched to the bottle is because he is going to a babysitter when I go back to work soon. ￼￼So how much are you giving???

It depends I think most babies our age if it’s formula maybe 5-6 ounces?? If it’s breastmilk it’s 1-1.5 oz per hour baby eats.. so if baby eats every 3 hours it’s  3-3.5 oz

We feed until he’s full. Our son will be 4 months on the 13th. He eats 7-8oz every 4hrs.

Mine takes 5 oz every 1.5-2 hours, but he’s also massive for his age, he’s in the 100th percentile for height and 98% for weight.

Depends on the last feed and such but typically feeds 5.5 ounces in the am and tapers to 4 oz during the day. Overnight sometimes drops to 3.5 but on average 4-4.5

My baby turn 4 months on 6/10. I’m already giving her 5 oz every 4 hrs. Longer gaps at night but she takes about 30oz in 24 hrs

My 4.5 month old has been taking 6 oz every 4 hours for quite a while now! He was still hungry after 4 so we would just add half an ounce at time to see how much more he would take and we found 6 to be the magic number
