New job opportunity - gone a lot

So I don’t know how I feel about this .. my husband said that he was offered a job but would have to be gone for days a time traveling from California to Texas on the regular. He said he’d only be making $3000 a month and in California that’s not that much money. I don’t think it will be worth it if it means he’s gonna be on the road all the time. What do you think ? If he goes ahesd and does it what should I do to keep our relationship healthy ?
