Is anyone always scared their period is going to leak through their pants, even if they’re wearing a pad?

I have leaked through a tampon and a pad once and i was wearing leggings. I stood up and there was a blood stain where I was sitting. luckily I lived close to my uni at the time so I walked home in the pouring rain (and luckily it was between classes when i had an hour break, though I was at the end of that break when it happened), hopped in the shower, and changed, before rushing back in time for my next class.
I now commute with my parents so if that happened now I would have to wait till the end of the day (because I can’t skip labs) or bus home (1&1/2 hrs). 
So I’m always worried that would happen again 😂

I do dance and our outfit for Friday’s dance is white pants...
That is when my period is due and I’m really worried, as every time I wear white pants I somehow leak through. Do you know what to do to prevent that???

I also do dance and our outfits are white leotard with white tights so yes I'm always worried about that tell I wear a pad and a tampon

I dont worry only because I wear tampons and panty liners.
