Emergency temporary custody?
I am in the state of Texas and do not currently have an attorney. My ex and I have joint custody of our daughter but he is currently showing signs of severe mental illness. He’s hallucinating, putting boards on her windows, locking up our child in her room, and talking to people who are not there and he’s become violent with his family. I am scared. I am wanting to move forward as quickly as possible to see if I can file for emergency temporary custody until we can get him some professional help. Can the county clerk help with this. I’ve already contacted them and left a message for them to return my call. Not sure what else I can fo right now.
