Period Like cramping

Anyone else experience this? I’ve had mild before, where I describe it as the day before my period begins and my midwife said it’s normal for my stage.

I’m 33 weeks.

Today, I have period like cramping that’s more intense than it has been. It’s in the very lower belly region, close to the vagina if that makes sense. I also have mild back aches.

It was pretty bad when walking and standing and I’ve been sitting down for almost an hour and still feeling it.

Not sure if I should call the midwife and ask, or just wait it out....

As a backstory, I had my water start leaking at 35+ with my first and he was born at 36 weeks.
