Do the stretch marks ever fade?

I was 120 before my pregnancy and my stretch marks look so awful. They cover my stomach and some on my thighs and I honestly have been crying day and night over them. I understand they wont ever go away completely but do they at least fade?😓😓😭

They go from red/purple to white/silver

They fade to little white lines and you can barely see them on most people.

I've been where your  at, and didnt think they would ever fade I had so many, but they really did withing a few months I barely see them a year postpartum and even less now at 18 months postpartum.

They will fade. They will never completely go away, but they turn to a silver white instead of red. I gained 50lb my first pregnancy so I got lots of them. I would be lying if I said they don’t make me self conscious though. I’ve struggled with body image ever since which was 5 years ago.

I had stretchmarks from puberty on my hips and boobs and they have faded. Not sure if it's thesame.

My mom went from 120 to 160 with my little sister and you can’t even see hers anymore and she was covered in them . I’d say it just depends on your body .

I had my daughter in December & I was 126 prepregnancy. I’m 147 now, RIP my old bod 😅 but mine have faded a little! Mine are on my sides & lower belly! If you’re pregnant tho, do be warned, usually more will come after the LO is here. I didn’t think mine were too bad but after I had her I swear I got more 😂 everyone is different tho!
