Would you take statistics online?

I am really bad at math, but if I take the class in the fall I won't have to worry about it. What was your experience like?

If you already struggle in any subject don't take it online especially math! I heartily suggest taking it in person. I also recommend seeing if you can find reviews about the professor you will have. I use ratemyprofessor.com

I took a stats class online as part of my education degree. I absolutely hate math. My program was entirely online, but if I'd had to take it in person I would have been even more miserable with it. As an undergrad I took my science with a lab online too just because I hated it and for me, doing it online made it easier to understand and get help. I'm not gonna say I didn't use Google to better explain some things that I didn't understand. I definitely did. Because the class was online, I feel like I had more resources to utilize and I could spend time on it at my own convenience instead of having to sit in a lecture listening to somebody talk about it for set hours each week. But I think it also largely depends on your learning style. I'd rather read something for myself than listen to somebody explain something, so I find that I tend to prefer online learning. But you really have to be very self-motivated

I had to finish my stats course online bc I just took it this last semester. I personally hated it. I hate stats with a passion but needed it for my degree. I would personally wait for in class. 
If you enjoy stats then it’s probably fine. 
If you hate stats then it’ll probably be harder to force yourself to do it and practice the stuff.

I’m taking intro to statistics online this semester as CUNY is going into full hybrid for the Fall. I think we’ll be okay, sis! Just study and stick to what the professor says.

I’m in online stats right now. It’s not terrible but it sure isn’t the best. We work straight out of the book and have discussion post every Thursday. So ig it could be worst🤷🏽‍♀️

i took stats in hs but it was ap. i think it'd be fine. stats is more like english than math so even if you struggle with math, i think stats will be pretty easy. there are lots of video resources online that can help if you get stuck with anything. in general though stats was pretty fun especially if you're going to be taking courses related to economics etc.
