Did exercising helped with your sever depression/adhd/anxiety?
I have sever depression, anxiety, and ADHD all rolled into one OCD-like brain. My therapist said I should consider meds but due to reasons, I’m choosing not to. My fiancé swears that exercising and a healthy diet is the cure for all mental disorders, but I just look at him and think “wow, it must be great having a normal mind to think so simply.”
My diet’s great so I’m working on the working out part. I used to work out before but still have all the disorder symptoms. Maybe I just need to up my regime and sweat, idk.
Did working out solved your mental disorders? If so, how intense were your workouts? Did you do cardio or weights or both?
Maybe I’m thinking too negatively at this exercising thing (I’m typing all of this while depression-crying on the elliptical lol)
