Giving up?

I've always been somewhat of an outlier. I had an unusual childhood, which people found interesting and offputting. Now, that I'm hoping for a child in the 11th hour, I still feel alone. I didnt intentionally put it off. But as a super eclectic, educated black female raised as an embassy brat, coupledom didnt come easy. But when do you give up the dream? Am I too old to have a child with my beloved.
