How many hours before IUI did you take trigger?

I’m curious on when everyone else took their trigger shot before their IUI. My doctor told me the day before and said “time didn’t matter” but I feel like it does. Curious what everyone else is doing. Have my second IUI scheduled. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I would say it matters in the sense of trying to time ovulation for optimal IUI success!

I would look for another doctor, that is a flighty answer.     My first couple were 36 hours exactly before IUI but in ovulated a bit easier so then they had me do it at 30 hours.

I would trigger between 8-10pm and then IUI at 7:30-8am the next day so about 12 hours later and then again the morning after first IUI for back to back IUIs. You typically ovulate 12-36 hours after trigger.
