I’m so upset I don’t even know what to do

Basically the AC in my apartment was not working. I told my landlord and she told me her brother and his friend (who I presume have pasts of working with ACs) were going to come look at it. While I’m at work she’s giving me updates such as “the coils were dirty” etc. At this time did I have ANY idea that they were in my room. I did not know until my other roommate sent me a video of what was going on. And I was livid because no one asked my permission to enter to do anything (and i know they have a job to do but I’m not home and they were in the room I was paying for without my knowing). Next thing I know I get a call from my landlord and she tells me that her brother (one of the men working) fell from that area in my room and broke my mirror. My heart stopped. When i got home the picture above is what i saw. Makeup ruined. Plaster everywhere. Brushes all over the place. My items thrown around. While her brother received bruises on his back from the fall, memories were destroyed. Items my late mother gifted me years ago broken. New and old, just gone. And my landlord told me since I owe her back rent, she was going to deduct the amount the vanity was worth against my balance and find me another for “cheap” (meaning anything she can put her hands on). I know someone is going to comment “at least she offered to replace it” and that’s fine but it doesn’t stop me from being upset. Mind that they did not think the move the vanity to another area. I just wanted to rant and get my feelings off my chest. Thank you if youve made it this far.
