Sleep Positions!! How are y’all getting through it?

I can’t stay on my left side long. I always end up on the right side. 
How are y’all staying on your left or if you’ve had a baby before, how did you sleep & did baby turn out fine?

You don’t have to stay on your left side!! The only reason it is encouraged is because the chance of compressing large blood vessels is slightly less if you lay on your left. Only sleeping on one side can cause some major discomfort in your hips/shoulders. Sleep how your body tells you it needs to sleep, just make sure you’re not flat on your back!

I just sleep how it feels comfortable. Right side makes it so I can sleep longer without having to pee so I’m on the side the most. Sleeping on my back is starting to pull on my round ligaments so I’m getting away from that.

I sleep however I feel comfortable. I always shift from stomach to sides and wake up on my back. The baby will wake you if your on them.

I lay on both .. i wake up an flip around constantly .. hard as hell to stay comfortable in one postion .. you dont have to stay on your left side

I can’t stay on either side too long because my hips start to hurt and belly starts to ache. Back is most comfortable so I lay half my back on my pregnancy pillow so I’m not flat

I try to mostly sleep on left but i switch back and forth between left and right. I honestly feel the baby move often when i switch to right and then i try to support uterus with a pillow to take pressure off. My dr said i can sleep on my right if it’s more comfortable

I rotate from my left to right sides throughout the night. I also sleep with a body pillow between my legs.

either side works! i’m a back sleeper and hate sleeping on my side so I have been trying to train myself but my husband will wake me up several times since I always end up on my back naturally

I shift between my left and right side... right side is usually more comfortable.... last couple of days I’ve just been dealing with major hot flashes so I’m tossing and turning.
