No period 1 month after IUD put in

So I got an IUD put in middle of March on the last day of my period. I had a heavier than normal period the in April a couple days later than normal and it lasted longer than normal. I was supposed to start my next one around May 16th and I still haven’t gotten it yet. I know some women have their period stop completely after an IUD but I thought it was usually not u til a year or so later. I’ve take. A pregnancy test twice about 2 weeks apart during this just to make sure that wasn’t it. Has this happened to anyone else so soon after the insertion?
