My husband is white Australian and we live in Australia. I’m black American. I asked my husband what he thinks of BLM and he said “idk, what’s to think about?” I said “our son may have to deal with racism/discrimination at some point in his life what are you going to say to him when ask u for advice” he says “hopefully that doesn’t happen”.

I had to work today so couldn’t go to local protests but would of. I asked “would you go to a protest with me if it was possible?” He said, “no plus I think it’s irresponsible with covid”. It’s like he doesn’t care. I’d like him to support it/me. It making me feel down. It’s like he’s scared. Every time a segment about blm come on the news he turns the channel.
