If family (4people) is staying at your house for a week do you buy all the extra groceries or do they buy some when they get here?

I’m just curious, we’ve haven’t had house guests stay over for that long and not gonna lie....feeding another 4 people kinda scares me lol. 
I don’t have a problem getting the essentials and I’m sure we won’t eat home every single meal, let me know!

I do, but buying extra groceries isn’t a financial concern for me. Who are they and why are they coming? For instance, did you invite them or are they staying with you bc they need a place to stay for a week.

I plan to buy them all, and if they decide to help then I adjust. If we go out to eat they buy their own unless I want to treat them.

If I had the money I would try to feed them at my sole expense bit if they offered to help I'd prob accept it

I'll buy what I can afford to get them fed. But if they want something special, they gonna have to buy it. 🤷‍♀️
